On Wednesday April 14th, the inaugural meeting of the Toronto Area DotNetNuke was held at the McLean Community Center in Ajax Ontario.  By all accounts the meeting was a great success.
 

What most don't know is it came within a few hours of being cancelled.  Let me explain.

During the few days prior to the meeting I somehow hurt my lower back, and for those who have this condition can confirm, a lower back problem can be quite debilitating.  Well, I was not able to move very well on the day prior to the meeting and was flat on my back at home considering cancelling the meeting. 

The day of the meeting I felt better but was still unsure – I sent out a notice asking for a RSVP for those planning on attending.  Slowly I got several response, and at that point I knew I must continue.

As it turns out, my back not a factor and the meeting proceeded without the need of a stretcher  !!

To all those that attended, a big Thank You.  For those who could not, please consider attending the next meeting on May 12th.
